The Sydney sightseeing bus (Big Bus Tour) is a comfortable and convenient way to get around the city. This open-top, double decker bus tours the iconic sights of Australia's most cosmopolitan city. You can hop on and off at any of the stops to explore the city at your leisure.
Sydney Tourist Bus
This sightseeing bus follows 2 different routes that last 1 hour and 30 minutes, with more than 33 stops located near the main tourist attractions of Sydney. Throughout the journey, enjoy pre-recorded commentary in English about the places you visit.
Discover the city's essential sights on the red line. You'll appreciate the mix of architectural styles that make Sidney so eclectic. The blue route introduces you to the Australian beach and surf culture, as it connects the city to the legendary Bondi Beach.
Some unmissable stops are the world-famous Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Tower, the tallest building in the city.

How Does it Work?
The ticket is valid for 1 or 2 consecutive days from the time it's first used. During this time you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you like to see Sydney's most iconic sights.
Schedule & Frequency
Please note the following schedules:
Red Line (City Tour):
- Until October 31, 2026: first departure at 9 am and last departure from Stop 1 at 5 pm
- November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027: first departure at 9 am and last departure from Stop 1 at 6 pm
- The full route takes 1.5 hours, with buses every 30 to 40 minutes
Blue Line (Bondi Beach Tour):
- Until October 31, 2026: first departure at 9:20 am and last departure from Stop 1 at 5 pm
- November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027: first departure at 9:20 am and last departure from Stop 1 at 6 pm
- The full route takes 1.5 hours, with buses every 35 to 45 minutes

Until further notice, the Sydney Sightseeing Bus will only operate on the Red Line once every 2 hours.
