By booking tickets to the Royal Alcázar of Seville, you'll discover one of the most dazzling palace complexes in the world, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If you're in the Andalusian capital, you can't miss booking tickets to the Royal Alcázar of Seville. Located in the heart of the city, it's the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe, as well as one of the most beautiful monumental complexes in the world. Ready to explore a place where time seems to have stood still?

With your ticket, you can walk through the walls of the Alcázar of Seville and immerse yourself in a true oasis of peace that leaves no one indifferent. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, this walled enclosure perfectly blends Islamic, Mudéjar, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque art. It's the truest reflection of the city's historical evolution!

The endless details of its arches and columns, the delicate plasterwork and tiles that adorn its facades, the palm trees, fountains, and labyrinthine gardens will captivate you from beginning to end. Plus, you can wander freely through the different areas of this architectural gem, passing through corridors once trod by kings, queens, and caliphs.

What to See in the Palace

Puerta del León: this is the main fortified entrance to the Royal Alcázar of Seville, a beautiful gateway that welcomes you to the palace complex.
Palacio Mudéjar o de Pedro I: this is the heart of the monumental complex, featuring the Patio de las Doncellas and the Salón de Embajadores with its impressive golden dome.
Palacio Gótico: in this area, you'll find rooms with ribbed vaults built after the Reconquista. You'll also find tapestries of great artistic and historical value.
Baños de Doña María de Padilla: this is where the underground cisterns are located, situated beneath the Palacio Gótico.
Estanque de Mercurio: one of the most iconic and photographed spots in the Royal Alcázar of Seville. Its large Islamic-style pool is presided over by a sculpture of Mercury and connects to the garden gallery. The Estanque de Mercurio served as a filming location for Game of Thrones, specifically to represent the gardens of Dorne.
Jardines del Alcázar: this is the oldest medieval garden complex in Europe. Within its more than seven hectares, you'll find labyrinths, fountains, orange trees, and even peacocks.
