If you are arriving in Puerto Madryn by cruise and want to make the most of your day, join us to discover Punta Tombo. This stunning nature reserve is home to penguins and beautiful nature.
Punta Tombo Shore Day Trip
We pick you up at the port of Puerto Madryn and head to Punta Tombo. After a journey of around 100 miles, we will arrive at the huge natural reserve area, which is famous for being the home of Argentina's largest colony of penguins.
Immediately upon arriving, we will set off on an enjoyable walk along the nature trail that runs through the reserve. Along the way, you will encounter wonderful penguins wandering through the vegetation and caring for their chicks. We'll have to keep very quiet so that we don't wake the ones that are sleeping!
We will stop at one of the area's best panoramic viewpoints so that you can watch the penguins jumping in and out of the ocean. As we explore Punta Tombo, you will learn more and more about how these amazing creatures live. In the summer, more than a million penguins flock to these shores.
Besides penguins, you will also see wonderful Guanacos, Piche 'dwarf' armadillos, and foxes, all native to this part of the world.
After the walk, we will head to a roadside inn, where you will have your own free time to have lunch as you wish. Then, reenergized and refreshed, we will start our return journey to Puerto Madryn. We arrive back at the port in time for you to board your cruise ship.
