We arrived there and were told we had to take the bus. That hadn't been mentioned beforehand, and we thought it was a free tour. We gave the tour guide 60,000 pesos, and he said it was 80,000. That was very strange. The other people doing the tour thought so too. And he wasn't very professional either, which is a shame.

The tour was OK - it seemed that the tour guide focused more on trying to get us to buy souvenirs and food rather than learning about the history and murals in depth. I would have liked more about the history of the Communa 13 area and how it rebuilt to what it is today.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the tour. We appreciate your comments about the guide's focus during the experience. We will address this with our team to ensure that future tours provide a more in-depth exploration of the history and culture of the area.

Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide Robin was the best in the world. What energy! What a way to tell you everything and immerse you in Comuna 13. Robin moved us with his story, and we appreciated the feeling of care he gave us. Finally, the walk to his family's viewpoint, one of the few viewpoints that hasn't lost its authenticity. If we had to give him a score, it would be 1000/10. Thank you so much, Robin, for this priceless gift. Opinion translated. Show original.

The guide barely talks about the history of Comuna 13; it's mostly just walking from a non-touristy area to a tourist area and hearing a few things about it. On top of that, they charge 50,000 Colombian pesos "voluntarily" (even though we know it's mandatory). They should stop advertising it as a free tour and sell it at the price they're asking for the tip, plus they make you pay for your own transportation... I wouldn't take it again.

Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

Saludos desde PR Translate this opinion into English.

The activity was excellent! David, our guide, was fantastic. He gave us a tour and experience imbued with a sense of resilience and community spirit. Past experiences and voices were vividly conveyed to highlight the love and power of community in overcoming adversity. Highly recommended, but be aware that there are many stairs to climb, so those with mobility issues should keep that in mind. Greetings from Puerto Rico! Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide is a resident of the Comuna and told us the story firsthand. I didn't like the delay in starting. We weren't informed that Civitatis has a very nice and safe café, and we spent half an hour waiting on the metro in an unsafe area… we waited for other people in the group, and then for the public bus route to the Comuna. The tour finally started an hour and a half late. They promote too many local businesses owned by friends and acquaintances, making it awkward to tip or buy anything…

Translate this opinion into English.

I really enjoyed learning about Comuna 13 and its history through Daniel's explanations. He didn't take us along the main street, which is the most touristy and has the most shops, but rather along quieter, more authentic streets. My only complaint was the two stops at tourist establishments, which were just an excuse to spend money. Opinion translated. Show original.
