On this excursion to the Cuyutlán Lagoon and Eco Turtle Reserve, we'll visit a center that protects turtles and other animals and take a boat ride through the area's mangroves.
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Manzanillo at the appointed time and travel south to see two great natural attractions of the state of Colima.
Following an hour-long drive, we'll arrive at our first stop. Welcome to El Tortugario Ecológico de Cuyutlán! At this turtle conservation center, we'll go on a guided tour to learn about the work they do with endemic animals that are in danger of extinction.
Turtles, crocodiles, iguanas... Throughout the tour, we'll tell you all kinds of curiosities about these and many other species while we walk through the facilities of the refuge.
The excursion will then take us to Cuyutlán Lagoon, where we'll go on a boat ride to explore the wild flora and fauna that call the area's mangroves home.
We'll end the excursion at your hotel in Manzanillo after four and a half hours immersed in the nature of Colima.
