Hong Kong Guided Walking Tour
Tour Details
On the day of the activity, we'll meet on the ground floor of Landmark Prince's in central Hong Kong to begin our guided walking tour of Hong Kong. Ready to discover one of the most densely populated cities in the world?
First, we'll start exploring Hong Kong's vibrant central district at Statue Square, a historic public square surrounded by impressive colonial-era buildings and statues. We'll admire the iconic Cenotaph and the statue of Sir Thomas Jackson, which pay tribute to the city's rich history and heritage, as we listen to the guide's explanations.
Next, we'll venture to the bustling Central Market, where locals and visitors alike shop for fresh produce, seafood, and traditional Chinese goods. You'll soak up the lively atmosphere as you explore the maze of stalls and vendors selling everything from exotic fruits and spices to handmade crafts and souvenirs.
Then, we'll ride on the Mid-levels Escalator, the world's longest outdoor covered escalator system, which winds its way through the busy streets of Central and the trendy neighborhoods of Soho and Mid-levels. Here, you'll enjoy the panoramic views of the city skyline as you pass by stylish boutiques, cafés, and eclectic street art along the way.
Our tour will continue in the neighborhood of Soho, known for its lively atmosphere, bars, and vibrant street art. We'll wander through the narrow alleyways and hidden courtyards while seeing the boutique shops, art galleries, and colorful murals adorning the walls of the buildings. Afterward, we'll head to the Graham Street Market. Did you know it's one of the oldest and busiest markets in the city?
Lastly, we'll visit the Man Mo Temple, a historic Taoist temple dedicated to the gods of literature and war. You'll marvel at the intricate architecture and ornate decorations of this centuries-old temple. It's the ideal place to take a moment to reflect on the spiritual significance of this cultural landmark.
Finally, after 3 hours, we'll conclude the tour at this last spot.
